Data Quest and CMR survey group conducted a survey on the top engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The objective of the research is to select the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh and to provide clear information to the student about the top colleges and helping the recruiters of the top companies in their recruitment process.
The collaborative survey initially screened 650 colleges across the Andhra Pradesh and had the HR of the companies as a part of the survey team. After screening, the survey team took 50 colleges out of 650 to the main survey. The parameters on which the survey is conducted are:

- Academic Environment - 30%
- Industry Interface - 10%

- Faculty-student ratio
- Experience of faculty
- Pass percentage
- Research papers and patent obtained by the college
- Events,seminars,meets in the college every year
Industry interface :
- Mou signed by the companies
- Affiliation and alliances to the foreign institutions
According to these parameters the survey team concluded that the top engineering colleges in AP are:
